The quarterdeck on board a US Naval ship vessel is the security control point for those entering and leaving. It is also the place the sets first impressions on how well the ship is maintained and mission ready. The podium was commissioned to leave a lasting impression with a Japanese flair. Hand cut mortis and tenon joints and floating top made of cherry was built to endure the seven seas.
